The fair, plain-English terms.
By using MyOil.ie you agree to the points below. The short version: our prices are a guide, we point you to suppliers rather than selling fuel ourselves, and our run-out figures are estimates.
Last updated: June 2026
Prices are indicative
The prices shown on MyOil.ie are indicative and for guidance only. Heating-oil prices move quickly and can vary by supplier, volume, delivery area and the day. We gather and present the figures we have, but we can't guarantee they're current or exact.
Always confirm the final price directly with the supplier before you place an order. The price the supplier quotes you at the point of sale is the one that counts.
We refer out, we are not the seller
MyOil.ie is a comparison and planning service. We refer you to third-party suppliers; we do not sell heating oil, arrange delivery, take payment, or enter into any contract for the supply of fuel.
When you choose to order, you contract directly with the supplier on their terms. Your order, payment, delivery and any after-sales matters are between you and that supplier.
Third-party suppliers and contractors
We list suppliers and may signpost contractors or technicians as a convenience, but we don't control them and we don't vet, endorse or guarantee their service, pricing, delivery or workmanship.
To the extent permitted by law, MyOil.ie is not liable for the quality, conduct or reliability of any third-party supplier or contractor, or for any loss arising from dealings between you and them. Nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.
Run-out figures are estimates, not guarantees
Our run-out predictor gives a rough estimate of how many days of oil you have left, based on the details you enter and a simple seasonal model. Real usage depends on your boiler, insulation, the weather and how you heat your home.
Treat the "days left" and "order by" dates as a planning aid, not a guarantee. Don't rely on them alone to avoid running dry, leave yourself a comfortable buffer.
Market context, not forecasts
Any "good day to buy" or "prices elevated" labels explain how today compares with recent prices. They are context, not a prediction. We don't forecast future prices, and you shouldn't treat our signals as financial or purchasing advice.
Heating-safety disclaimer
MyOil.ie provides general information only and is not a substitute for professional advice. Heating oil, tanks and boilers can be dangerous if mishandled.
Following OFTEC guidance, please call a registered professional rather than attempting a repair yourself when:
- your boiler has locked out and a single resetdoesn't fix it, do not keep resetting it;
- you smell fumes or suspect carbon monoxide, leave the building, get fresh air and call for help before anything else;
- you spot a tank or pipe leak, stop the flow if you safely can and call a specialist; oil spills can be an environmental hazard.
Servicing, repairs and installation should be carried out by a registered OFTEC technician. If in doubt, don't risk it, call a professional.
Changes and contact
